The Sages and Seers lead a selfless life, dedicated to the welfare and service of humanity. They keep spreading peace, devotion and love in the pious land of India. Amongst such enlightened souls our Satguru Swami Shanti Prakash ji Maharaj holds a venerable position.

His name, “Shanti Prakash”, means the one who spreads light and peace in the inner shrine of the devotees. He taught the lesson of peace to everyone. Upon having a sacred glimpse of him and uttering his name, a heart in distress can get immediate relief.

The great personality who is one with the Almighty, detached from the world, and who performed penance under the guidance of Acharya Satguru Swami Teeonram ji Maharaj. Satguru Swami Teoonramji Maharaj’s great disciple karam yogi Satguru Swami Shantiprakash ji Maharaj came to this earth in the month of Saawan in the year 1907 on Nariyal Poornima (Shri Satyanarayan-Full Moon Day) on the occassion of the pious festival of Raksha Bandhan day. He was born in the Province of Sindh in the Sakkhar district in a village known as ‘Chak’. His father whose name was Shri Assoodhomal and mother Shrimati Jugaldevi both were devoted pious souls and religiously served many saints and seers. This caused great impact on the life of Maharaj Shantiprakashji.

Since childhood, Satguru Swami Shanti Prakash´s mind was detached from worldly temptations . He remained focused on the Lord and he was very absorbed in meditation and devotion to his master. After some time Maharaj Shree started academic education when suddenly He developed measles and starting losing his eyesight. Despite of several treatments he could not recover his vision. His concerned parents took him to a well know sage of Sindh Sant Harchuram Sahib, who told them not to worry, “Your child will be a great Seer”. His prediction turned out to be true. After sometime Maharaj Shree obtained the sacred vision of Incarnation of Lord, Beloved Revered Acharya Shree Satguru Swami Teoonram ji Maharaj. For some time, Maharaj Shree remained under the guidance of Acharya Shree having his darshan, listening to his discourses, performing service (Seva) and meditating. Seeing his dedication, devotion, service and meditation in the Lord, Pooj Satguru Swami Teoonramji bestowed on him the sacred word (naam) and accepted him as his disciple. Accepting Acharya Shree’s instructions with great faith and devotion He remained engrossed in service and meditation at Amrapur Darbaar. After some time with the permission of Acharya Shree Satguru Swami Teoonram ji Maharaj he travelled to Amritsar, Haridwar, Kashi to learn the Holy Scriptures, Gurubani, Ramayana etc. Sanskrit language.

After acquiring the spiritual knowledge, contemplating and practicing it, he conveyed the Master´s message to the masses. He travelled along the whole world imparting peace and love. As per Acharya Shree´s instructions He was always ready to perform selfless service, service towards the society, serve the downtrodden spreading thus the name and glory of the Master.

In His preaching’s He use to mention that Satguru Swami Teoonram ji Maharaj and Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj are with him at every instant looking after and guiding Him. Their blessings have made this visionless person worthy.

“KISI KAAM KE THE NAHI-CHOOTA NAHI KOI CHAAV KIRPA BHAEE GURUDEV KI-TO PUJAN LAAGE PAAV”

Whenever He met a great sage He would always introduce himself as a devotee of Satguru Teoonram ji Maharaj. At every gathering and in a very humble tone, He use to say with great confidence, “What is the value of this visionless person? This is the grace of Satguru Swami Teoonram ji Maharaj who made me worthy”. This was His utmost fervor for His Master.

He concluded His Divine Play on the 15th August 1992 on a flight and departed for Amrapur Dhaam. The light merged with the Supreme. All these memories will be with us, inspiring and guiding us foreve
