In 1930, in the village of Hindan, district Samghar Sindh, our beloved Swamiji was born, in the house of pious souls, Shri Hiranand and Mata Moeta Bai, who were humility personified. Mata Moeta Bai was the sister of Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj. Blessed was he that he grew in the atmosphere of Sanctity and harmony.
Pooj Satguru Swami Haridasram ji Maharaj was given the name “Lalchand”. As Swamiji grew up and went to school, he received education in Hindi and Gurmukhi on top of the standard curriculum. On a regular basis, he dedicated some time composing bhajans and studying the Holy Scriptures.
Eversince childhood, Swamiji was in the company of both Satguru Swami Teoonram ji Maharaj and Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj. God had definitely blessed him to be able to be in the company of our spiritual masters, under whose guidance he was brought up and eventually became a master himself. In 1951, at the young age of 21, Swamiji realised that he was born for a “special” mission. He renounced the world and decided to live a life of service and devotion. Swamiji was then initiated by Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj.
Since then Swamiji served the master with all his heart and soul. Swamiji accompanied Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj across India and to many foreign countries.
In 1977, when Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji Maharaj left for the heavenly abode, Swamiji looked after the Amrapur Darbaar (Jaipur Headquarters). He wrote Swamiji´s spiritual master´s biography, and had the biography translated in both Sindhi and English. In 1992, Pooj Swami Shanti Prakash ji left for the heavenly abode. Swami Haridasramji Maharaj, was then named “Gadeshwar” of the Prem Prakash Mandal on August 30, 1992.
He had been leading a life of dedicated service, thus forgotting himself. Swamiji used to travel from one place to other to spread the teachings of his Master. He used to advocate the practice of meditation and selfless service to all around us. Spain, Pakistán, Hong Kong, United States, and South America, are some of the places where Swamiji had touched a lot of hearts.
On August 26, 2000, Swamiji left for the heavenly abode in Lanzarote, Spain. His true love for us and discourses will always remain with us.
